Description

Another Iconic weapon from World War 2, the M1 Carbine was designed and developed by military contractors for the US military. The M1 Carbine was the result of soldiers of special training having trouble with the weight of the M1 Garand service rifle. The Thompson was also offered but it provided less accuracy. This weapon would have gone through several different processes before being completed, yet it remained a very effective weapon. It would also go on to serve in Korea and Vietnam, but ceased in service to the US by 1973. Despite this it remained a very popular rifle with other militaries and civilians.

The M1 Carbine is a semi-automatic carbine designed with to be more lightweight than it's much larger brother the M1 Garand. It fires a .30 carbine (7.62×33mm) cartridge in a 15-30 round magazine.
